This Delft tile is from the 18th century in the Netherlands.

This is what the shepherdess' farmhouse might have looked like.  The tile dates to approximately 1775.

What's the fellow doing? Is he prepping fiber somehow? Sorting it, maybe?

The little sheep on that tile are perilously cute. ;-)

I'm surprised to see the guy unit helping. Thought this was all woman's work.

I LOVE the top tile. The simple, gestural forms of the sheep are perfect.
