I look just like that when I knit. High cheekbones, lithe limbs, infinite flexibility while waiting for the next great role. *sigh*

Great picture.

Sigh. She was a class act.

My family had a seaside home near Fenwick, the Hepburn family summer home in Old Saybrook, and we'd see various and sundry Hepburns around town in the summer months. Later on, I was acquainted with Kate's brother when I lived in New Haven. I heard recently that he's the only surviving sibling of Kate's.

She was an amazing person. And she really did break the rules.

And she could really knit? It wasn't just a pose?... I'm always so disappointed when it's just a pose. Good for her! :-)

ohmy, isn't she beautiful.

She's one of my favorite actresses - I'm watching 'Holiday' right now, and she's knitting! :o)

Oh, man, is she stunning! Hardly looking down, if at all.

Beautiful, bright, funny, and she knit. What a lady!

she was beautiful and so cool, before it cool was a thing to be.

What a classy broad.
(Speaking in the vernacular of the era).

She sure was beautiful. That's a fabulous picture.
