Any chance there's a spindle in the snow for Beth S?

Laurie

LaurieM took the words away from me.

I've heard the bells on the cows in Switzerland as they come down to the lower pastures. Do sheep wear bells?

Malin

The sheep are probably seeking refuge from irritating flies and mozzies by lying on the snow patches. I've seen reindeer doing exactly the same thing in northern Sweden.

i dont' know if i ever told you this, but when my mom was a kid, she would take the family sheep from the winter to summer pastures and back again.

margene

Those sheep would be very happy in Utah today!

Kris

I enjoy the pictures.
Thanks

Catherine

"as we (in the northern hemisphere) approach the coldest depths of winter" What's this? What happened to your 65 degrees and sunny? Winter finally found its way east?

Beth S.

I can't believe those sheep would rather sit in the snow than in the nice grass! How silly! But at least it keeps their fleece clean, I suppose.

Carole

Snow? What's that?

LaurieM

Perhaps they are still wearing their winter fleeces and so they are more comfortable on the snow.
