"Knitting in the Garden" was painted in 1932 by Peter Mork Monsted (1859-1941), a prominent Danish landscape painter of his day.
Here we have a knitter and her two (oddly well-behaved) friends enjoying the full flower of of a summer day.
Beautiful, I didn't know about this painting and am glad I do now! :D

The little dogs have no doubt been tearing through the flowers and shrubbery, leaving death and destruction in their wake, until they have been firmly told to sit in the basket and behave! They'll stay there for about five more minutes before sneaking off...
